LUZ DE LA GUARDIA

  Luz was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She moved to Tallahassee after high school to study social work at FSU, but quickly realized her real passion was cosmetology. 

  After graduating from the Aveda Institute in 2006 she moved to Jacksonville and started her career in the San Marco area. While working for a local Aveda salon she made connections, honed her skills as a master stylist, and started laying the foundation for her own salon. In 2014 she went independent and opened her first salon suite, and went on to open Bela Salon in 2020. She loves taking continuing education courses and learning the freshest techniques to keep her clients looking effortless and chic!

  Luz specializes in full transformation services. She finds joy in doing challenging color corrections, extension work, and lived in layered haircuts. 

  In her free time, Luz enjoys spending time with her two daughters, date nights with her husband, and reading the latest best-selling novel.
